Final table 6 players. I'm at big blind (1,000). 1st position calls 2nd folds, 3rd fold, 4th calls, 5th calls I call. Flop comes 2.8.8 . I bet 1000 villan raises to 3000, I call. Turn 8. I check he bets out 5000 I raise 5000 he calls. River 10. All in from him I call. He shows pp 10's. I show 8,2. Wooohooo down to 5 and I had a huge chip lead. I went on to win. That was the hand that set me on the way. In every tourney I feel there are a few hands that make it for you. I just happened to get it when another player had a huge hand.
What's not to get. I had him beat the whole time. Just a matter of getting as many of his chips as possible. People overplay thier hands all the time. You are right. I played at this guys table all night. He thought he was the best and knew everything. So I kept saying that he was right. LOL When I did make a bluff at him and folded I would show him my hand. After doing that a few times to him he kapt saying how I didn't have shit and he just needed some cards to bust me. lol A set of 10's was not enough that hand. He threw down his 10's so fast like he had me beat lol joke was on him.
